Sess 2: Jr/Int Silks & Acro (Sat)

Service Description

2 hours * Saturdays 9:15-11:15 A combination of Aerial Silks/Hammock and AcroDance. Aerial silks are two tails of fabric hung from a single aerial point. An Aerial Hammock is a single length of fabric hung by its loose ends at a single aerial point, like a swing. Students learn the techniques to safely wrap , and twist into beautiful shapes, while building strength, flexibility, and endurance. AcroDance is a combination of foundational techniques in strength, flexibility, tumbling, balancing and dance. Students of all levels are welcome and lessons will be accommodated to meet and challenge each individual in a safe, creative, fun and encouraging environment. This session runs Jan 13-Jun 1/24, and finishes with a recital in June. Costume rental is included in the session fees of $870 +HST.
