Sess 2: Mixed Aerial & Acro (Mon)

Service Description

2 hours * Mondays 5:15-7:15 * Jan 8-Jun 3/24 A combination of Mixed Aerial and AcroDance. Aerial Silks are two tails of fabric hung from a single aerial point. An Aerial Hammock is a single length of fabric hung by its loose ends at a single aerial point, like a swing. Aerial Hoop is a metal hoop hung vertically from a single aerial point. Dance Trapeze is a horizontal bar suspended from two aerial points. Students will have a choice of which apparatuses to work with each day. Students learn the techniques to safely wrap , and twist into beautiful shapes, while building strength, flexibility, and endurance. AcroDance is a combination of foundational techniques in strength, flexibility, tumbling, balancing and dance. Students of all levels are welcome and lessons will be accommodated to meet and challenge each individual in a safe, creative, fun and encouraging environment. This session runs Jan 8-Jun 3/24, and finishes with a recital in June. Costume rental is included in the session fees of $920 +HST.
