About the Intensive

The Academy Circus School offers summer camps in the form of a one week intensive workshop endorsed by Acrobatic Arts.

This will allow students ages 9-12 or 13-18 the chance to experience professional training in circus arts.

While at camp, students receive personal motivational skills, learn various disciplines and a solid grounding in the demands of circus arts. All teachers are highly trained in the art of dance, circus and acro and are top in the industry.

Fee

Full week with no meals included $440 + HST

Full week with meals included $640 + HST

*Individual food per day will also be for sale for those who wish not to purchase the full week meal option.

Intensive Training Times

9:00 am to 4:00 pm Daily

*The last day of camp will finish off with a performance for the parents to attend at 3:30 pm

Classes offered:

AcroDance, Tumbling, Contortion, Hand Balancing, Aerial Hoop, Aerial Silks, Aerial Hammock, Hip Hop & Jazz, Nutrition, Injury Prevention, Circus Arts (juggling, Tightrope walking etc) Specialty Aerial Classes (Weggsphere, Flying Pole etc), Acrobatic specialty classes (Teeter Board, Hoop Diving)

Student Profile

To register for our summer intensive camp you must achieve the following:

-be within the camp ages of 9-12, 13-18

-currently practicing circus arts, dance, acrobatics, martial arts, artistic or rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline or figure skating.

-be in good physical condition

-complete your online application form

-submit your photos

-pay the camp fee

As spaces are limited, The Academy Circus School reserves the right to select the applicants.
