About Us

The Academy is South-Western Ontario‘s regional circus hub, linking London with the wider Canadian and global arts communities. We are London’s premiere circus training facility, specializing in acrobatics, aerial arts and circus.

The Academy was founded by Meaghan Wegg (Dip. Circus Performance, Dip. Circus Trainer); École Nationale de Cirque graduate as both a performer and coach, ex. Cirque du Soleil aerial hoop artist and artistic coach and creator of the globally-offered Aerial Arts hoop syllabus.

Our team of coaches offer technique classes from the beginner to the elite athlete. Students can also audition for our competitive and performance teams which open up opportunities to perform in competitions and events.

The Academy also houses a full sized stage which students can rehearse and perform on!

Safety is our priority and we take our students’ well-being seriously. Our building structure has been analysed and certified by an engineering firm. Permanent metal fixtures were designed by an engineer and fabricated / installed by CWB certified welders. Our rigging systems were installed by an entertainment rigging company who services Cirque du Soleil.

We are dedicated to providing a positive and supportive training environment where students can learn, grow, have fun and be safe.

New in 2021 - The Academy now has an on-site Sports Physiotherapy practice for dancers and acrobats!
